OZTF V1.0!
It has finally been released (well the un-beta one), and you can check out the changes, etc,
here.
Here are some of them:
- Added sgfire command, which toggles between firing bullets and lightning :)
- Modified max_world_pipebombs for 4 teams. With 4 teams each team is allowed 5 pipebomps,
with 2 teams 7 pipebombs as normal. Tf lite has 4 pipes with 4 teams and 5 pipes with 2.
- I orginally made a lg sg to test sentry firing. I added it now just for a bit of fun and to demenstrate
how powerful sentrys can be. I reduced the damage over distances <700 = 23 damage
< 1100 = 17 damage and above 1100 is 10 damage per ammo. Ammo used is shells rather
then cells since its easier to just assume sentry converts shells into cells rather then
add redundant code just to show cell usages. Also engineer needs cells and when u toggle
firing modes it would cause problems having 2 different ammo's while the gun was firing.
- Fixed pyro cannon radius damage now works correctly on the amount of damage and
distance to enemies. This means it doesnt move enemies as much as before and it moves
relative to damage and distance of radius.
- Added pyro RJ!
Tf.rebel.net.nz has been updated to to OZTF v1.0 (the first server aswell), so
go jump on the server and see what you think.
I will post a review of it soon.
OZTF2 came to and end a while ago now, (around the 9th) but better late than never.

Holy Crap!
Been over a month since I updated!
I was ISP-less for about 2 weeks (I got me a paradise connection now),
and I was on holiday in Auckland before that... That explains 3 weeks... But who cares!
On with the News:
NZTF has been going through a bit of a revival lately with people making easy-setup-readmes,
and members of the community finding friends/other gamers to join in on some TF action, which
is really good to hear!
So if you are one of these people trying to get other people to join in on some TF'ing, keep
it up (*looks at flatmates*)!
Sooo... Yeah I haven't actually got any news really... So I will pimp bliP's NZTF site
which has the readme on how to setup TF and everything.
But I will, before I go, upload some stats I have : ).
